Reporter: Thailand was unable to defend the AFF Cup 2024 championship, what is the plan after this tournament?

Coach Ishii: Thailand cannot win the tournament for five years, we have many young players who are very good for the future. The Vietnamese team played better and deserved to win. Thailand made mistakes in the first minutes of the match, and those moments changed the game. We cannot repeat this mistake.

Reporter: What do you think about the second goal, was it an ugly goal? Should Thailand have let Vietnam score again?

Coach Ishii: That was a beautiful goal.

Reporter: How many players will be called up to the national team next time?

Coach Ishii: We have 4-5 good quality players, in addition there are many good quality U23 players in Thai League 2 and Thai League 3, I will call them up.

Reporter: What did you convey to your students?

Coach Ishii: They did a great job, working together. We lost but then tried to come back. I thank them for working hard throughout the tournament. I thank the fans for their support. We will help Thai football continue to move forward.

Reporter: Is this the most difficult and crazy match of your career?

Coach Kim Sang-sik: We want to thank all the fans who came all the way here to witness the championship of the Vietnamese team. I have experienced many stories and now I have won the championship with the Vietnamese team.

Reporter: What is the next plan after winning the AFF Cup 2024?

Coach Kim Sang-sik: My start with the Vietnamese team was not easy. After this tournament, there will be the Asian Cup qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games. The 2024 ASEAN Cup championship will be the beginning of everything.

Reporter: Dinh Trieu carried the Korean flag and Mr. Kim Sang-sik carried the Vietnamese flag, what does this mean? What do you think about him?

Goalkeeper Dinh Trieu: Coach Kim Sang-sik came and contributed to Vietnamese football. The connection between Vietnamese and Korean football has been evident for a long time. When Mr. Kim spoke, I brought the flags of both countries to show my affection. Coach Kim Sang-sik puts the team's goals first, is always fair in training, and does everything for Vietnamese football.

Reporter: Tuan Hai was a reserve throughout the tournament but started in the final, which must have been a surprise. What do you think about Thailand's second goal?

Coach Kim Sang-sik: I want to talk about Thailand's goal first, it was not fair play, it was not a proper goal. Anyway, we won. We prepared a plan with many different options. Tuan Hai did not have many opportunities in this tournament, but he is a good player. But I believe he can do many things in this match. Luckily, he did.

Goalkeeper Dinh Trieu: 10 years ago, I quit football and 10 years later I never thought I would be here. It's like a dream. When I come back, I just hope to do something. I can only say that give it your all with passion, effort and success will come.
