At 9:00 a.m. on December 30, OneU's homepage announced: "Dear Customers, first of all, OneU would like to send our sincere apologies to you for the temporary system interruption due to access overload during the ticket sales process for the 2024 ASEAN Cup home final match.
Our technical team is working hard to reopen the ticketing portal as soon as possible. OneU is committed to ensuring the ticketing process is smooth, fair, and convenient for fans.
Customers please follow the latest updates on the application or OneU's official channels".
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) homepage also immediately re-shared OneU's post with the status line: "We hope fans sympathize with the inconvenience in the ticket purchase process and calmly wait for the official announcement about the re-sale time."
Currently, the ticket distribution unit as well as VFF have not given a specific time to reopen ticket sales.
As Lao Dong reported, at 8:00 a.m. this morning (December 30), VFF opened online ticket sales for the first leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final of the Vietnamese team.
There are 3 ticket prices: 1,000,000 VND/ticket, 700,000 VND/ticket and 500,000 VND/ticket. The organizers only sell online via the OneU application. Each customer can buy a maximum of 2 tickets/ID card or Passport.
However, just after about 10 minutes of opening for sale, the ticket sales website crashed. The system reported an error after the number of people accessing to buy tickets was too large.
The Vietnamese team will play the first leg of the final at home at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025 at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho), then play the second leg away on January 5, 2025.
Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team's opponent will be the winner of the remaining semi-final match between Thailand and the Philippines.
