On the evening of March 5, the 19th Dedication Award Ceremony in 2025 took place at the Hanoi Opera House. Here, the sports field was nominated in 4 categories: Sports achievements of the year, Sports face of the year, Sports Youth face of the year and Aspiration for Dedication.
With the achievement of winning the 2025 ASEAN Cup championship, the Vietnamese team was honored in the Sports Achievement of the Year category.
Meanwhile, the Sports face of the Year category named striker Nguyen Xuan Son. The striker born in 1997 is an important player in the Southeast Asian championship achievement of the Vietnamese team. Xuan Son also won the Golden Boot award with 7 goals and was the Best Player in this tournament.
The Sports Young Face of the Year award went to canoeing athlete Nguyen Thi Huong. She had a successful year when she won a place in the 2024 Paris Olympics, a gold medal at the Asian Championship, a gold medal at the Asian U23 Championship, 3 gold medals at the Southeast Asian Championship...
Since the 2024 season, the Dedication Sports Tournament has added an Aspiration category to honor individuals or groups with outstanding contributions to the socialization of sports and spreading positive values in the community, contributing to encouraging the development of the sports movement nationwide. This year's award went to Dong Luc Joint Stock Company.
