On the afternoon of July 12, the match between U16 Hanoi and U16 Phong Phu Ha Nam was a direct competition for the throne.
Before the match, Phong Phu Ha Nam had a 2-point advantage over their opponents and only needed a draw to be crowned. Meanwhile, the representative of the Capital must win if they want to retain the title.
U16 Hanoi took the initiative and soon opened the scoring in the 12th minute. From Bao Yen's smart free kick, Ha Yen Nhi rushed in to head the ball accurately. The goalkeeper of Phong Phu Ha Nam misjudged the landing point and made mistakes in entering and exiting.

However, that advantage lasted about 12 minutes when Phong Phu Ha Nam equalized 1-1 in the 24th minute. From a free kick, Linh Chi put the ball into the penalty area, the Hanoi goalkeeper caught it without holding it, creating an opportunity for Minh Anh to rush into the rebound to level the score.
The turning point of the match came in the 55th minute. Thanh Lam from Hanoi had a situation of going down the right wing and crossing the ball inside, goalkeeper Phu Ha Nam's Phu Thao once again entered and exited unreasonably, creating conditions for Thu Phuong to easily tap the ball into an empty net, sealing a 2-1 victory.
3 valuable points in the final match helped U16 Hanoi overcome their opponents to be crowned, ending their journey to defend the title in a spectacular way.
In the remaining match, Ho Chi Minh City U16 women's team - the team that has secured third place - still played seriously when meeting Son La. Although the first half was quite deadlocked, the Southern team played better in the second half and won 2-0 to end the tournament in third place overall.

The 2025 National U16 Women's Football Tournament ended with the championship belonging to Hanoi U16, Phong Phu Ha Nam U16 winning the runner-up position and Ho Chi Minh City finishing in third place.
This is considered an important stepping stone for youth training towards big playgrounds in the future of Vietnamese women's football.
