At the beginning of the press conference, coach Okiyama Masahiko said: "I would like to deeply share with some Southeast Asian countries that suffered damage from the recent earthquake, including Thailand. May peace be upon everyone. In addition, the match between U17 Vietnam Women's Team and U17 Thailand Women's Team is also an opportunity to strengthen the football relationship between Thailand and Vietnam".

The captain of the U17 Vietnam women's team continued: "I have only been in Vietnam for a month. Although they have not been focused on the team for long enough, through training, I initially assess that they have basic techniques, serious implementation and possess their own strengths.

We want to take the match with U17 Women as a luggage for young Vietnamese people. Based on the data of this match, the team will analyze and offer a training plan, preparing for the upcoming Asian U17 qualifier. Regarding the match against U17 women, the team sets the goal of winning ".

On the Thai U17 women's side, coach Thidarat Wiwasukhu said: "The team does not have much experience and this is an opportunity for us and the Vietnamese side to develop, open up friendly matches or international tournaments in the future.

Recently, the U17 Thai women's team has continuously operated according to the schedule, including matches taking place in their home country. At the time of the earthquake, we were not significantly affected.

For me, the match with U17 Vietnam women's team will be a stronger connection between the two countries' sports. We will definitely play fair-play, noble with a beautiful sportsmanship against Vietnam.

Madam Pang continuously encouraged the whole team. She has not yet offered a prize, but we will receive encouragement, motivation, and gifts from her after the match. It can be said that Madam Pang is the center of Thai football spirit".

The international friendly match between the U17 Vietnam women's team and the U17 Thailand women's team will take place at 3:00 p.m. on January 3 at the People's Police Academy football field.
