24 players called up to the training center were present at all costs on the morning of March 28 and stabilized their activities at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
Leading the U17 women's team in this training session is Japanese coach Okiyama Masahiko and assistants, former national team players Pham Thi Tuoi, Bui Thi Nhu, goalkeeper coach Nguyen Dinh Hai, a doctor and interpreter.
Mr. Okiyama Masahiko officially took on the role of leading the U17 and U20 Vietnam women's teams from the beginning of March 2025.

On the first day of training, head coach Okiyama Masahiko sent the players to the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center for training.
This is also the first time the players have become familiar with the new head coach's training plan. In the following days, the team will have 5 more days to prepare for the friendly match with the Thai U17 women's team, including an official training session to get acquainted with the stadium at the People's Police Academy.
On the away team's side, members of the Thai U17 women's team, about 40 people, will be present in Hanoi at noon on January 1 and have their first training session at the People's Police Academy Stadium in the afternoon of the same day.
According to the plan, the head coach and players of the two teams will attend a press conference before the match at 10:00 on February 2 at the Vietnam Football Federation.
The international friendly match between the Vietnam U17 women's team and the Thailand U17 women's team will take place at 3:00 p.m. on January 3 at the People's Police Academy football field.
This is one of the events in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand.
