Athletes from 13 grassroots Trade Unions competed in 3 sports, including: Pickleball (male and female doubles, male doubles, female doubles), tug-of-war and 1000m race. The competition events took place sôi nổi, hấp dẫn, showing the spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility of textile and garment workers.
This is an activity to improve the spiritual and cultural life and strengthen the cohesion in the team of officials, union members, and workers throughout the industry.
Speaking at the Health Festival, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union said that the 2026 Textile and Garment Health Festival will continue to be held in many regions and localities nationwide, lasting from now until the end of September 2026.
The Health Festival is organized to maintain and develop the physical education and sports movement throughout the industry, towards celebrating the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day; Workers' Month 2026; XIV Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 and celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union (September 14, 1996 – September 14, 2026).
