Striving to bring the project to completion on time
On the afternoon of July 30, the Trade Union of Electricity of Vietnam held a ceremony to commend the "Outstanding Trade Union Officials" for the period 2021-2023 and to review the emulation movement "Innovation in Trade Union Organization Activities" for the period 2019-2024.
Attending the commendation ceremony was Thai Thu Xuong, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
This is an occasion to commend the team of Trade Union officials, especially the 95 outstanding Trade Union officials. In recent years, the unit has always united to overcome difficulties, uphold the spirit of responsibility, dare to think and act, and actively participate in the emulation movement among civil servants and Trade Union activities.
Mr. Do Duc Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Trade Union of Electricity of Vietnam - said that in recent times, with the attention and direction of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and the support of ministries, sectors, and localities, the 500kV Line 3 Project has achieved encouraging results.
The Vietnam Electricity Group has been making every effort, mobilizing all resources, competing in a sprint, working with high determination, striving to bring the project to completion on time.
The Trade Union of Electricity of Vietnam has promptly visited and encouraged workers participating in supporting the 500kV Line 3 project both spiritually and materially, ensuring that workers are assured in their work; ensuring health, safety, and quality of work.
"In the period 2021-2023, the Vietnam Electricity Group has persistently stabilized and continued to have bright spots such as proactively managing production, operating the power system and electricity market; proposing many solutions to effectively implement investment and construction goals and tasks.
Focusing on ensuring the progress of ongoing projects; technical measures have been applied, along with the efforts of the management and operation team, all indicators of power grid reliability, and power grid operation management have met the requirements," said Mr. Do Duc Hung.
Strong innovation
At the commendation ceremony, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong expressed joy at the strong innovation of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union in recent years.
According to the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in recent years, the workers' movement and Trade Union activities of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union have continuously developed, achieving many encouraging results. Trade Union activities have continued to innovate, increasingly reaching deeper areas.
Patriotic emulation movements have been widely deployed by Trade Union levels; members and workers have actively participated in emulation movements, especially the movement of good labor and creative labor.
Especially the emulation to complete the 500KV Line 3 from Quang Trach to Pho Noi with the spirit of overcoming sun and rain, working day and night to complete the project.
"You have contributed to making unprecedented history. Sectors and levels highly appreciate the role of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union in propaganda, mobilization, and taking care of members and workers.
This has created motivation and inspiration for workers to strive to complete the project according to the set schedule," emphasized Ms. Thai Thu Xuong.
