According to the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Trade Union, Hon Gai Coal Selection Company organized a group 6 occupational safety and health training class with 87 occupational safety and health workers from 11 affiliated units.
This is a periodic annual activity to update knowledge, skills and improve the responsibility of the safety and hygiene force in ensuring safety at the unit.
The training contents include: Contents on the system of legal documents related to occupational safety and health; identification of risks and hazards in the workplace; measures to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases; tasks and powers of occupational safety and health; rights and obligations of workers; methods of organizing activities and deploying safety work at the grassroots level.
In addition to theoretical content, safety and hygiene staff are exchanged and share practical experiences during the working process.
These contents help safety and hygiene officers clarify the remaining problems, raise awareness and compliance with regulations on safety and hygiene officers at units.
