On March 19, the Trade Union of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) said that the grassroots Trade Union of Con Dao Seafood and Import-Export Joint Stock Company has coordinated with businesses to organize training on occupational safety and health (OSH) for all officials, employees, and workers who are working.
The training session attracted about 230 union members and workers to participate. In which, the speaker, Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung (former Head of the Department of Labor-Employment-Salary of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) mentioned some points of the Labor Code and the system of legal documents on OSH; OSH work at the grassroots level; factors related to occupational safety, methods of identification and preventive measures that workers as well as employers need to grasp.
This is an annual activity organized at enterprises, aimed at ensuring occupational safety and health, preventing labor accidents, occupational diseases, eliminating dangerous and harmful factors in the workplace, as well as other damages to workers, businesses and the environment.
Through training activities, it will help union members, workers, and employers consolidate knowledge, raise awareness, and sense of responsibility to better implement OSH, prevent occupational accidents and diseases. Contributing to preventing and minimizing occupational accidents and diseases, ensuring safety for workers and businesses to complete production and business tasks in 2026.
