Advice when using a battery booster

HƯƠNG SƠN |

The kettle is a familiar device in many families thanks to its ability to boil water quickly and conveniently.

However, if used incorrectly, this device may reduce its lifespan, consume electricity and pose a potential safety risk.

According to experts from the International Organization for Electrical Safety, users should place the high-speed battery on a dry, flat surface and away from areas prone to water to limit the risk of short circuits. Do not share a power outlet with many high-capacity devices such as rice cookers or microwaves.

A common mistake is overheating or turning on the tap when there is no water. This can quickly damage the heating pad, reducing the lifespan of the device. In addition, many people have a habit of reheating water many times. Experts recommend only heating just enough water to save electricity and maintain better water quality.

The kettle also needs to be cleaned periodically. Mineral residue accumulated over time not only makes the water smell strange but also causes the device to consume more electricity. Users can use white vinegar or lemon to clean the residue inside.

According to home appliance experts at the US Consumer Assessment and Protection Organization, the battery should be replaced ultra-fastly when electrical leakage signs appear, the lid is not closed, or the power cord is exposed. When buying new products, priority should be given to devices with self-disconnecting functions and clear safety certification.

Proper use not only helps extend the life of the battery but also contributes to ensuring safety for the whole family.
