The final round of the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers Football Tournament with the theme "Healthy to work, steadily moving towards the future" has drawn lots for groups, determining promising attractive matches before kicking off on July 25th at Gia Dinh Stadium.
According to the draw results, Group A includes the grassroots trade union of Sansho Vietnam Co., Ltd., the grassroots trade union of Sawaco Company, the grassroots trade union of Nippon Express Vietnam Company and the grassroots trade union of Vinh Hung Sugar Co., Ltd.
Group B has the participation of the Grassroots Trade Union of Nitto Denko Vietnam Co., Ltd., the Grassroots Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank), the Grassroots Trade Union of Baria Serece Port and the Grassroots Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Urban Drainage One Member Co., Ltd.
In Group C, the competing teams include the grassroots trade union of Hai My Industry Co., Ltd., the grassroots trade union of Van Lang University, the grassroots trade union of Saigon Tourism Corporation and the grassroots trade union of Coteccons Joint Stock Company.
Meanwhile, table D gathers the grassroots trade union of Pung Kook Saigon 2 Co., Ltd., the grassroots trade union of PouYuen Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the grassroots trade union of Saigon Agriculture Corporation.
According to the regulations issued by the Organizing Committee, the final round gathers 15 excellent teams that have passed the qualifying round of 3 regions. Teams are divided into groups to compete in a round-robin format, selecting the top team in each group to enter the semi-finals and continue to compete for the championship.
The tournament applies the 5-a-side Football Law issued by the Vietnam Football Federation. Each match consists of two halves, each half 20 minutes, and a 10-minute half-time break.
According to the plan, the matches will take place in two days, July 25 and 26 at Gia Dinh Stadium. In addition to team prizes for the champion, runner-up and third-placed team, the Organizing Committee also awarded individual titles including excellent players, excellent goalkeepers and top scorers. The tournament is a playground contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports, strengthening exchanges between union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in Ho Chi Minh City.
