On July 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated with companion units to organize the Traffic Safety Day, combined with health care for female workers in 2026, taking place in Ba Ria ward.
This is an activity to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the success of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, towards the goal of raising awareness of law compliance, building traffic culture and health care for female workers in the area.

During the program, about 4,000 union members and workers were served breakfast and free drinks; enjoyed attractive art programs; and were propagated and disseminated about traffic safety contents and regulations.
At the same time, participate in other event activities such as free car maintenance checks; safe driving instructions; test driving of the latest Honda models; participate in workshop and game activities with attractive prizes; lucky draws for valuable prizes.

Union members and workers are also allowed to shop for essential items at the welfare stalls, with discounts of 20-30% compared to retail prices at supermarkets.
Notably, on this occasion, the Trade Union also organized cervical cancer screening for about 1,000 female workers. The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also organized the presentation of 100 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, through activities, it contributes to raising awareness and equipping workers with safe traffic participation skills to contribute to reducing traffic accidents and building a safe traffic culture.
