On June 20, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Quang Ninh Provincial Employment Service Center to organize the 2026 Yen Tu Ward Job Fair.
The program aims to strengthen labor supply and demand connections, support businesses in recruiting human resources, and create job opportunities for workers, students, and pupils in the area.
The festival attracted more than 500 participants, including about 100 students from the College of Industry and Construction. There are 21 businesses inside and outside the province participating in recruiting workers in many fields such as industry, processing, manufacturing, construction, mechanics, electricity, electronics, automation, tourism and services.
At the booths, workers and students are consulted on careers, learn about recruitment needs, remuneration regimes, working conditions and participate in direct interviews with businesses.
At the program, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee and Quang Ninh Provincial Employment Service Center signed a coordination regulation in connecting labor supply and demand, consulting, introducing jobs and supporting the development of the labor market in the area.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Rector of the College of Industry and Construction - said that the job fair is an opportunity for students to access production and business practices, understand the recruitment needs of businesses, practice professional skills and orient personal development before entering the labor market.
This activity also creates conditions for the school to strengthen coordination with labor-using units in training, internships and recruitment.
