On May 30, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) held a conference to hand over retirement decisions according to Decree No. 135/2020/ND-CP and early retirement according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the decision for 5 cadres who can retire early according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government and 2 cadres who can retire according to Decree 135/2020/ND - CP of the Government. The retirement date is from June 1, 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President, Head of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - welcomed the volunteer spirit of the union officials who retired early and respectfully thanked the 7 officials for their contributions to the union organization after many years of association.
According to the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, each cadre has a different position but through the working process, they have completed their tasks well, and have been recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with forms of commendation.
Ms. Thai Thu Xuong hopes that in the coming time, retired cadres will continue to pay attention to following union activities and contribute opinions to the union organization to develop strongly.
Previously, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held 3 conferences to award decisions on pension benefits to comrades on retirement according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government.
