On May 29, the leader of Phu Yen province informed that the Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision approving the list of subjects and funding for implementing the holiday policy from June 1, 2025, according to Decree No. 178 and Decree No. 67 of the Government.
This is a first-round approved list with a total of 94 cases eligible for the regulated regime.
Of which, 73 cases retired early, 21 cases quit immediately. The total budget to implement policies and regimes for the above subjects is more than 87 billion VND.
The majority of retired cases are between the ages of 45-60, with one case having the youngest job loss born in 1987, a specialist working at the People's Committee of Song Cau Town.
According to the list approved by the People's Committee of Phu Yen province, the highest support case is the Deputy Chief Inspector of a department with a support level of VND 1,979,472 thousand and the lowest is the Department Inspectorate specialist with more than VND 75 million.
There are 9 cases of inspectors at departments approved for this leave. Of which, 4 cases of early retirement were supported with over 1.3 billion VND; 4 cases of job loss all belonged to the Department of Construction received support from over 1 billion to over 1.5 billion VND.
Of the 94 approved cases, only 4 cases were Department Heads, the remaining 25 cases were Deputy Department specialists and employees.
Notably, there are 13 cases of drivers, 3 cases of security guards, 4 cases of service staff who retire early and quit their jobs and are supported from 376 million to more than 1.3 billion VND.
Previously, at the end of April 2025, the People's Committee of Phu Yen province issued a decision to supplement more than 14.8 billion VND from the State budget estimate for 2025 to units and localities to pay support for 14 cadres retiring early.
Of these, the person with the lowest support is more than 107 million VND, with a 6-month early retirement period. The highest support case is a department director, paid more than 2 billion VND with an early retirement period of 6 years and 6 months.
To date, Phu Yen has approved 108 cases eligible for early retirement and termination of employment. Currently, the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Yen province has submitted 11 more cases for the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide.
