Ms. Dang Mai Phuong - Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of Co-opBank Trade Union said that in the 2023-2025 period, in general, Co-opBank Trade Union has completed and exceeded the set plan.
In particular, some indicators showed impressive efforts and results such as the target of "Grassroots trade unions achieving strong performance or better every year" exceeded the set level, reaching a rate of 118%; 100% of units organizing Labor conferences, signing Collective Labor Agreements and dialogues at the workplace all were excellently completed...
The care work has been implemented practically and effectively by the Co-opBank Trade Union. In particular, the union organized visits and gave Tet gifts to cadres and union members in difficult circumstances and who were sick on the occasion of Lunar New Year; supported cadres and union members in special circumstances and those with serious illnesses on the occasion of Workers' Month...

Regarding social security and charity work, Co-opBank Trade Union has coordinated with professionals to participate in many activities such as giving 400 gifts to students in mountainous areas and ethnic minorities; sponsoring the construction of accommodation rooms for boarding students of 2 Ethnic Boarding Schools; supporting the construction of 5 gratitude houses for poor households; sponsoring the repair of health stations; sponsoring funding to support the construction of houses for 5 families in difficult circumstances under the Program "Joining hands to eliminate 1,000 temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister and the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; supporting scholarships for 1,300 children with disabilities in difficult circumstances, outstanding in overcoming difficulties in studying according to the content of the program "Lighting up the trust" of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Children with Disabilities...
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank acknowledged that the Co-opBank Trade Union has truly become a reliable bridge between the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the workers, contributing to maintaining internal solidarity and encouraging union members to overcome difficulties and excellently complete assigned tasks. These are important results, affirming the core role of the Trade Union in accompanying the development of Co-opBank.
From those results, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank requested the Co-opBank Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term to continue promoting the precious qualities of "Heart - Talent - Intelligence", making further efforts and determination to excellently carry out the political tasks assigned by the Governor of the State Bank.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong emphasized a number of major priorities that Co-opBank Trade Union needs to implement in the coming time: Continue to closely follow the direction of the board of directors and the higher-level Trade Union; proactively advise on solutions for management, operation, and support for units in the system to effectively implement business - financial plans.
Strengthen activities to care for and support the People's Market and contribute to promoting cooperative economic sectors; innovate methods of operation, linking trade union work with Co-opBank's development strategy;
Organize a practical emulation movement associated with professional tasks; coordinate vocational training, soft skills, digital transformation, create quality inherited human resources; promote propaganda and education of union members and workers about law, labor discipline and professional skills; proactively care for material and spiritual life; coordinate to propose appropriate policies to protect the legitimate rights of workers.

At the congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the Co-opBank Trade Union, term VI, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 11 members, with prestige and capacity, representing more than 2,000 union members in the entire system.
