The Trade Union meal had the participation of leaders of Hai Phong City Labor Federation, Hong Bang Ward Trade Union, business leaders and more than 1,000 union members and workers of Bumhan Vina Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.
The meal is worth 50,000 VND/portion, higher than the current shift meal level applied at the unit. Hai Phong City Labor Federation supported the unit with 262.5 kg of rice and 350 bottles of fish sauce for the grassroots trade union to organize the program.
In a warm and cohesive atmosphere, the collective of officials, union members, and workers gathered around a warm meal tray, together enjoying delicious and nutritious dishes. Sharing joy with workers at the trade union meal, leaders of the City Labor Federation wished workers to enjoy delicious meals, always believe in the care and protection of the Trade Union organization as well as the concern of businesses. From there, enthusiastically work and produce, contributing to the development of units and businesses.
According to the Hong Bang Ward Trade Union, up to this point, 5 grassroots trade unions in the area have registered to organize trade union meals. The total number of union members and workers benefiting is nearly 2,000 union members. The "Trade Union Meal" program aims to continue to improve the effectiveness of activities to care for and benefit union members and workers, and promote employers to improve the quality of lunch meals. The activity also contributes to strengthening the attachment and consolidating the trust of union members and workers in the Trade Union organization and businesses.
