Recently, the Communist Party of TK 68 Company Limited (Lan Mau commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang) organized the Trade Union Meal program. Chairman of the Confederation of Labor (Confederation of Labor) of Bac Giang province Nguyen Van Canh attended and rejoiced with the workers. TK 68 Company Limited is a garment company with 150 workers.
To prepare the Trade Union Meal to express gratitude to union members and employees, the Company's Communist Party Executive Committee coordinated with the Board of Directors of the company to provide financial support to increase the value of shift meals for employees at the rate of 20,000 VND/person/person. rate, total value of each rate is up to 50,000 VND. Workers were surprised to see that the meal was more complete and hearty than usual. During the meal, workers also share with their leaders their thoughts and aspirations to work together to overcome difficulties and obstacles during the work process.

Not only the Communist Party of TK 68 Co., Ltd., other units also simultaneously organized Trade Union Meals during this time. Recently, the Trade Union of Crystal Martin Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) and the Trade Union of Crystal Intimate (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (Bac Giang province) jointly organized a Union Meal and thanked employees. The total number of workers attending union meals in the two units is 8,500. Meals are worth 41,800 VND (food cost, excluding electricity, gas, labor), an increase of 20,000 VND/meal compared to normal meals.

The value of meals increased by over 5.5 billion VND
According to the Confederation of Labor of Bac Giang province , at grassroots unions that organize Trade Union Meals, the value of the Trade Union Meal = daily meal value + added value from union financial resources (maximum 50,000 VND/serving) + added value from other sources of socialization mobilized by the union such as: Support from professionals, employers, sponsors or other sources of socialization (if any).
Up to now, the entire Bac Giang province has 638/700 (91.1%) enterprises with trade unions organizing shift meals for employees. Of these, up to now, 269/638 (reaching 42.2%) businesses have organized the 2024 Trade Union Meal program with a total of 216,133 meals, an added value of over 5.5 billion VND (including above 4.7 billion VND is money extracted from union funds and over 800 million VND is socialization money mobilized by the union from business owners, catering companies...).
In addition, the Trade Union Meal program at the organizing units also integrates welcome activities such as: Organizing the admission of new trade union members; Giving birthday gifts to trade union members in July; Giving gifts to trade union members in difficult circumstances or serious illnesses, giving milk to pregnant women and raising children under 12 months old; praising, giving gifts, and giving bicycles to children of union members in difficult circumstances to improve their studies...
