Vietnam Banking Trade Union has high professional characteristics
The report presented by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung stated that the Project consists of two main parts (not including the introduction). The first part, on the current situation of the organization and operation of the banking industry trade union in Vietnam, clarified the current situation, results, difficulties, obstacles and causes. The second part, on the viewpoints, goals, requirements and directions for piloting the rearrangement of the trade union organization model under the Vietnam Banking Trade Union in a focused, consistent and effective manner.
Regarding time, pilot steps: Total pilot time is 3 years, starting from Quarter IV/2024 and ending in Quarter IV/2027, including: Step 1, implementing the plan and implementing the organizational model arrangement: From the beginning of Quarter IV/2024 to the end of Quarter I/2025. Step 2, implementing pilot activities from Quarter II/2025 to the end of Quarter III/2027. Step 3, summarizing pilot activities in Quarter IV/2027.
Delegates discussed and gave opinions on the following contents: Review and approve the Pilot Project on arranging the trade union organization model under the Vietnam Bank Trade Union with the basic contents stated above; at the same time, assign the Standing Committee of the Presidium to issue a Pilot Implementation Plan and direct the implementation of the contents stated in the Project.
Assign the Organizing Committee of the General Confederation to advise, assist the Standing Committee and the Presidium of the General Confederation to preside over and direct the implementation of the Pilot Project; relevant General Confederation committees coordinate the implementation. Direct the Vietnam Banking Trade Union to develop a pilot implementation plan in the industry in line with the Project and the Plan of the Presidium of the General Confederation on implementing the pilot project to arrange the model of trade union organizations under the Vietnam Banking Trade Union.

Present at the Conference to discuss the Project Report on the pilot arrangement of the trade union organization model under the Vietnam Bank Trade Union in a focused, consistent and effective manner, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union reported to the members of the Presidium some general features of the current organizational model of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union, including the number of union members, the number of grassroots trade unions, etc.

Need to design models with organizational model diagrams
In response to the high consensus on the Project and the suggestions, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang requested the implementing unit to absorb and complete the Project. In particular, it is necessary to clarify and convince about the necessity of the Project as a prerequisite for implementation; ensure the centralized leadership model that the Party organization already has. In addition, it is necessary to clarify the benefits.
In this content, the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor noted that the workforce of the banking industry is of high quality with training levels, comprehensive knowledge, and digital transformation skills, but they also face many pressures. The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also requested that the Vietnam Banking Trade Union clarify the specific features that need to be handled in the Project, which are the group of financial companies and consumer finance companies, and 100% foreign-owned banks.
