On May 21, the Trade Union of Vung Tau Ward (Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with the Reproductive Health - Family Planning Clinic (under the Ho Chi Minh City Population Sub-Department) to organize the program "Trade Unions Accompanying Workers' Health". This is a practical activity to celebrate Workers' Month 2026 and respond to the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1.
In the program, Ms. Tran Thi Hong - Deputy Head of the Department of Reproductive Health - Family Planning - directly exchanged and shared many practical contents related to reproductive health care, prevention of common diseases in women with the collective of female union members and workers participating, through a close, fun, lively and easy-to-understand way of communicating. Thereby, helping hundreds of female union members and workers easily access knowledge, raise awareness of self-care and protect their health.
In addition, the team of doctors and nurses of the Reproductive Health - Family Planning Clinic directly organized obstetric and gynecological health check-ups for female workers; including items: obstetric and gynecological examination, fresh white blood counting, obstetric and gynecological ultrasound, cervical cancer cell screening and dispensing treatment drugs as prescribed.

At the same time, consulting and answering questions related to reproductive health care for female workers, helping to improve knowledge, self-care awareness and health protection, contributing to improving the quality of material and spiritual life for female workers in Vung Tau ward.
The program took place in a friendly atmosphere and received positive responses from about 300 female union members and workers participating. This is a meaningful activity, showing the deep concern of the Trade Union organization for the lives and health of union members and workers in Vung Tau ward.
