On the morning of May 21, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City, in coordination with Long Chau Pharmacy, organized a health care program with the theme "Early recognition - proper stroke treatment" for union members, workers and youth union members in the area on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026.
The program is an activity to improve knowledge and skills to protect workers' health, while contributing to building a safe and healthy working environment.
At the training session, doctors and nurses of Long Chau Pharmaceutical shared important knowledge about stroke, how to recognize early warning signs and how to handle it properly when an emergency situation occurs. According to medical experts, stroke is trending towards rejuvenation and leaving serious consequences if not detected and intervened in time. Mastering basic first aid skills is extremely necessary to protect yourself and those around you.
On this occasion, union members and workers were directly measured by doctors to measure blood pressure, screen for atrial fibrillation and warn of stroke risk. Each participant in the program also received a gift worth 200,000 VND.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union emphasized: "Health is the most precious asset of workers. Through this program, we hope that union members and workers will be equipped with the necessary knowledge to proactively take care of their health and their families. This is also an opportunity for the Trade Union organization to show practical concern and accompany union members and workers in all aspects of life.
