The latest shift meal regime for employees in state-owned enterprises is implemented according to Decree No. 44/2025/ND-CP.

The shift or quantity meal regime for employees, Executive Board members, Council members, and controllers at previous State-owned enterprises is implemented according to the agreement in the collective labor agreement or the regulations and rules of the enterprise according to the provisions of the Labor Code.

Currently, the implementation of the mid-shift regime for employees, Executive Board members, Council members, and Controllers in Housing Enterprises is implemented according to the provisions of Clause 9, Article 34 of Decree No. 44/2025/ND-CP dated February 28, 2025 of the Government regulating labor management, wages, remuneration, and bonuses in State-owned enterprises.

Previously, the mid-shift meal was based on Clause 4, Article 22 of Circular No. 26/2016/TT-BLDTBXH, which stipulated: The company implements the maximum meal allowance for employees during the mid shift to not exceed VND 730,000/person/month. The implementation of the mid-shift diet is guided in Circular No. 22/2008/TT-BLDTBXH dated October 15, 2008 of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs guiding the implementation of the mid-shift diet in state-owned enterprises.
