Supporting more than 100 million VND for union members
On November 19, the Son Tra Ward Union, Da Nang City organized a program to provide support to union members and workers severely affected by the flood at the end of October.

At the program, 54 union members received support gifts, each worth 2 million VND in cash, with a total cost of more than 100 million VND. This is a funding source allocated by the Da Nang City Labor Federation according to the proposal of the Son Tra Ward Labor Union.
The flood at the end of October caused great damage to the lives of union members and workers at grassroots unions under the Son Tra Ward Union.
Many union members' families were deeply submerged in water, furniture and means of living were damaged; some households completely lost assets such as refrigerators, washing machines, motorbikes and electronic devices. Some union members had to temporarily stop working to overcome the consequences, directly affecting their income and daily activities.
Speaking at the support handover ceremony, the representative of Son Tra Ward Trade Union said that caring for and accompanying union members in difficult times is always a priority task of the Trade Union organization.
This support is not only material but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and sharing, helping workers have more motivation to overcome the damage after natural disasters.
This support program continues to affirm the role of the Son Tra Ward Trade Union in caring for the lives, protecting rights and creating a solid support for union members and workers in the area.
Visit and encourage at work
Similar to the Son Tra Ward Trade Union, on this occasion, the Hai Van Ward Trade Union visited the workplace to visit, encourage, share and provide support to union members and workers in the ward who were severely affected by natural disasters.
Ms. Huynh Thi Anh Nguyet, Chairwoman of Hai Van Ward Trade Union, directly presented gifts to union members of Deo Ca Transport Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, Nicotex Joint Stock Company Trade Union, Mikazuki Company Limited Trade Union and Hoa Hiep Nam Independent Preschool Group Trade Union.
At the places visited, Ms. Huynh Thi Anh Nguyet visited the lives and damage of each union member; at the same time, encouraged the families to overcome immediate difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and return to work.
The Chairman of the Hai Van Ward Trade Union affirmed that timely care and support for union members affected by natural disasters is the responsibility and sentiment of the Trade Union organization. The ward union will continue to review and grasp the situation to have appropriate forms of support, contributing to helping workers stabilize their lives.
This time, Hai Van Ward Union has presented support to 14 union members in difficulty, a gift of 2 million VND. This is a funding source allocated by the Da Nang City Labor Federation according to the proposal of the Ward Labor Union.
Receiving the attention of the Trade Union organization, union members expressed their emotions and thanked for the practical and timely support, considering this a great source of encouragement to continue to overcome difficulties.
"During the recent flood, almost all of my family's valuable assets were damaged and could not be recovered. The support gift of 2 million VND from the Trade Union for me at this time is very large and timely to help my family solve some of the immediate difficulties.
I would like to thank the Trade Union organization for always being by our side, accompanying and sharing with our workers in difficult and disadvantaged times in the past time" - said Ms. Le Thi Suong, one of the union members who received support this time.
