On the afternoon of November 18, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union established a grassroots Trade Union at My Binh Tam Hiep Company Limited after a flexible, persistent campaign and close coordination with enterprises to not affect production activities.
During the approach process, the Commune Union proactively innovated propaganda methods and had a direct dialogue with the Company's Board of Directors. Business owners clearly recognize the role of trade unions in building progressive, harmonious and sustainable labor relations, thereby unifying conditions to establish grassroots trade unions.
On the basis of agreement, the two sides will develop a specific propaganda plan, ensuring that it does not affect the shifts and production progress. On November 18, at the production workshop of My Binh Tam Hiep Company (Tam Hiep Port Industrial - Logistics Area, Nui Thanh Commune, Da Nang City), the Trade Union of Nui Thanh Commune in coordination with Ban Thach Social Insurance organized a Conference to disseminate and dialogue on the Law on Social Insurance, Health Insurance and labor law for workers and employers.
On the same afternoon, after working hours, the Standing Committee of the Commune Trade Union held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to admit union members and establish the My Binh Tam Hiep Company Limited Trade Union. The new grassroots union has 32 union members; the provisional Executive Committee consists of 3 comrades; The Inspection Committee also consists of 3 comrades. Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Chief Accountant - was appointed to hold the position of Provisional Trade Union Chairman.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong - Company Director, representatives of the Board of Directors and comrades from the Standing Committee of the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Phuc - Chairwoman of the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union - acknowledged the positive cooperative spirit of the enterprise.
At the same time, it is recommended that the grassroots trade unions promptly develop the Operating Regulations according to the regulations of the Vietnam Trade Union; assign tasks to each member; closely coordinate with the Company's leaders to effectively perform the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers; participate in building harmonious and stable labor relations, contributing to improving the lives and income of union members, promoting sustainable business development.
