On January 3, 2026, information from the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation, in the days from December 29 - 31, 2025, the Vietnam Trade Union Working Group led by Ms. Be Thi Hoa - Chairwoman of the Lang Son Provincial Labor Federation visited and worked in Sung Ta City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China).
The delegation included representatives of the Labor Relations Department - Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, along with trade union officials and technical workers from Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces.
Receiving and working with the Vietnamese delegation were leaders of the National Trade Union of China, the Trade Union of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, along with representatives of the City Party Committee, the government of Sung Ta City and a large number of trade union officials and local workers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Vietnam - China Skills Exchange Program, the leaders of the two sides affirmed that the skill exchange activity is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to deepening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China, promoting trade union cooperation to become deeper, more practical and effective; strengthening learning and sharing experiences among technical workers.
With the theme "Talented Skills - Passionate Career Building Dreams", the program creates a forum for artisans and typical technical workers of the two countries to exchange initiatives, professional experience, show skillful skills and creative labor spirit. Through this, union members and workers in Cao Bang and Lang Son have more opportunities to learn, improve their qualifications, and nurture their passion and responsibility for the profession.
Speaking at the program, Vice President of Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation Hoang Thi Lam emphasized: The Provincial Trade Union always focuses on innovating the content and methods of operation, strongly focusing on the grassroots level; paying attention to training and fostering skills for workers; and at the same time promoting trade union diplomacy, strengthening exchanges with border localities of China in the spirit of friendship, equality, and joint development.
Within the framework of the working trip, the delegations of the two countries visited a number of typical businesses and production models in Sung Ta City. The skill exchange program is expected to continue to be a bridge connecting trade union organizations and workers of the two countries, contributing to building a border area of peace, friendship, cooperation and sustainable development.
