Accordingly, the Trade Union Board of Industrial Zones No. 1 (Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation) has worked with the Board of Directors and employees of OAKONCEPT Vietnam Wood Industry Co., Ltd. (Southern Industrial Park), a construction wood furniture manufacturing industry, specializing in producing wooden floor tiles with a scale of 5,000,000m2/year, 100% Chinese investment capital (FDI).
At the end of the investment phase, the company is currently operating and has recruited 130 workers. It is expected that when it becomes stable operation, it will create jobs for about 400 local workers.
After the working session with the consensus of employees and company leaders, the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province guided employees to prepare dossiers and procedures according to the regulations of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
It is expected to issue a Decision to establish a grassroots Trade Union and launch it in January 2026.
In 2025, the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province mobilized 858 trade union members and established 6 new grassroots trade unions.
