In that spirit, the Da Nang City Labor Federation will focus mainly on taking care of workers, including guiding the organization of year-end meals and activities to care for workers on the first day of the new year when they return to work.
At the same time, there will be specific instructions for units to flexibly choose forms of care suitable for the subjects and characteristics of the unit. Along with that, grassroots trade unions focus on grasping the situation of labor relations in the area; commune and ward trade unions focus on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions to ensure the achievement of the targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to Da Nang.
Specially emphasizing the role of commune and ward trade unions in implementing the 2-level local government model, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh said that commune and ward trade unions are authorized by the City Labor Federation to directly manage grassroots trade unions in the area. However, the commune and ward trade unions have been assigned specific functions, tasks and powers by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In addition, with the characteristics of the current model, commune and ward trade unions proactively coordinate to organize activities to care for workers, or propose that the City Labor Federation organize activities in communes and wards, thereby, best caring for workers.
