From AI application training to practical action
Recently, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized training on the use of software for the information system to operate the work of Party agencies and apply AI in union activities for nearly 100 full-time union officials and workers at public service units of the City Labor Federation.

This is not only a skill training activity, but also an important step to help Da Nang trade unions master modern digital tools, thereby improving digital capacity, improving administrative work efficiency and coordinating the trade union movement.
The training session is designed with two topics: focusing on instructions on the use of operating software systems, from operations such as document processing to monitoring internal document circulation processes. And put AI into practice, from analyzing survey data using Google Form, drafting summary reports, planning union events to designing media publications.
Notably, in-depth content such as basic awareness of AI, exploitation of tools such as ChatGPT, slide design, smart notes or content creation support are all implemented in the form of practice - helping students not only "know" but also "do".
Continuing this series of practical actions, the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union also launched the program "Digital Citizen - Digital Knowledge Journey with the Trade Union".
This is part of the framework of the program " scope of AI education" - a coordination activity between the Ward Trade Union and the Da Nang Center for Information and Smart monitoring and operation.
Workers can self-study online on the http://binhdanhocvuso.danang.gov.vn system, with 6 short study topics, lasting less than 7 minutes, suitable for limited time. The program not only provides knowledge but also encourages the spirit of lifelong learning, through the mechanism of granting certificates for each topic and the entire course.
The proactiveness and diversity in organizational forms, from in-person training to online self-study, has shown the comprehensive efforts of the Da Nang Trade Union in applying AI and technology to serve union members and workers. These are the solid foundations to build a modern, flexible and closer union organization to workers.
Manualized removal of knots using digital solutions
Before taking breakthroughs in 2025, from 2024, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has pioneered the development of assessment software for "Cultural standard agencies" - digital solutions to thoroughly resolve the problems that have existed for many years in the national trade union system.
Remember at the Conference to review 2 years of implementing Decision 2214/QD-TTg at the end of 2025, the representative of the Da Nang City Labor Federation stated the situation: other units still depend on paper documents, officials lack cultural expertise, and have to process documents at the end of the year - the time when work is most crowded. Registration, scoring, and report synthesis are all done manually, late and ineffective.
In that context, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has digitized the entire process with cultural agency assessment software - from registration, scoring to statistics reporting and cloud records storage.
This solution helps optimize the process by automating notifications, creating reports, and quick responses. Increase management efficiency by integrating digital signatures, high security, and clear account delegation. Reducing the burden on the grassroots in the direction of "adding more work but not creating pressure" for union officials.
Previously, in 2023, the software was tested on the web platform, and by 2024, it had integrated single-entry session (SSO), aiming for the goal of "Each grassroots union - One account - Many applications". This is a foundation to prepare for the expansion of union member management applications, labor agreements, union data, etc. in a synchronous and easy-to-reach manner.
From 2024 to 2025, it is clear to see a seamlessness in the digitalization vision of the Da Nang Trade Union from converting heavy-duty paperwork processes into convenient software systems, to applying AI to practical service for workers and union officials in administration, communication, and movement organization.
All for the goal of building a modern, flexible, cost-effective union organization, improving efficiency and better serving workers.
