During his lifetime, Uncle Ho always paid great attention to workers, to those who are still in difficulty, weak and need protection.
That spirit is today concretized by Trade Union levels with many practical activities such as "Tet Sum vay", "Trade Union Bus", "Trade Union Home", supporting union members with critical illnesses, supporting unemployed workers, reducing working hours or caring for workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said: In the past 5 years, more than 100,000 turns of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers of the city have been cared for with a total budget of hundreds of billions of VND.
Not only taking care of life, the Trade Union organization also strongly participates in protecting workers' rights through dialogue, collective labor agreement negotiation, legal advice and supervision of policy implementation at enterprises.
Mr. Le Van Dai said that the core of studying and following Uncle Ho in the Trade Union organization is to bring real benefits to union members and workers.
Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style must be expressed through specific actions. With the Trade Union organization, it is to better care for workers, protect the legitimate and lawful rights of union members, and build the trust of workers in the Trade Union organization," he said.

When a worker has a serious illness, she and the grassroots trade union mobilize to support treatment costs. When workers encounter difficulties due to epidemics or job loss, she proactively connects to support essential goods, encourages morale and finds solutions to help workers stabilize their lives.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Ly, learning from Uncle Ho does not necessarily have to start with great things. "What workers need, we try to do it best. I think that the Trade Union organization promptly supports its union members and workers with a gift in difficult times, a word of encouragement or stand up to protect their rights when they need it, that is also the closest and most practical way to learn and follow Uncle Ho" - Ms. Ly shared.

Those are "Self-managed Workers' Groups in Boarding Houses" helping to connect, care for and grasp the thoughts of workers. Those are buses taking workers home for Tet. These are worker markets, Trade Union meals or "Trade Union Homes" for workers in difficult circumstances...
It can be seen that the vitality of studying and following Uncle Ho in the Da Nang Trade Union organization lies in the fact that workers truly feel the companionship of the Trade Union organization.
When workers feel sharing, being protected, being cared for with specific actions, that is also when studying and following Uncle Ho goes deeper, becoming a sustainable value in the lives of workers today.
