On May 29, the Trade Union of Ban Thach Ward, Da Nang City informed that the unit had organized a conference to summarize Workers' Month 2026. This is an opportunity to evaluate the achieved results, and at the same time honor the efforts of trade union levels in caring for union members and workers.
Attending the conference were leaders of the City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), leaders of the Ward Party Committee, and a large number of officials, union members, and workers in the area.
In Workers' Month 2026, Ban Thach Ward Trade Union has made a strong impression through a series of activities towards grassroots levels, focusing on caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members.
The most prominent highlight is the program "Supporting workers". In the past month, the Ward Trade Union has presented 38 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to union members who unfortunately suffer from serious illnesses, occupational diseases or are in particularly difficult circumstances. These gifts are not only valuable in terms of material but also a timely source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers overcome adversity.
The Ward Trade Union organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the "Great Trade Union Solidarity" house for Ms. Pham Thi Thuy's household (Vinh Binh residential group) with a support amount of 60 million VND. At the same time, it recognized the noble gesture of the grassroots Trade Union of Quang Nam Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company when receiving lifetime care for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Mai Thi Hue (Tien Phuoc commune) with a support level of 1 million VND/month, along with organizing repairs and installation of the lighting system at Mother's house.
Not only doing a good job of professional work and caring for life, Ban Thach Ward Trade Union also affirms its dynamism in mass movement activities.
At the 2026 Da Nang City Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers Sports Festival, the ward's athletes' delegation created unforgettable imprints. After a month of exciting and dramatic competition, the Ban Thach Ward Trade Union delegation excellently won the first prize overall.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of the City Labor Federation highly appreciated the results that Ban Thach Ward Trade Union has achieved in this year's Workers' Month. These are practical activities, spreading the spirit of solidarity, affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying union members and workers, creating a premise for successfully completing trade union goals in 2026.
