April 21 every year is recognized by the United Nations as World Creativity and Innovation Day (WCID), to honor and promote the spirit of creativity in all fields of social life.
Initiated in 2002 and officially recognized in 2017, this day has become an important milestone, affirming the role of innovative thinking in solving economic, social, environmental and sustainable development issues.
In the current global context, science, technology and innovation are identified as key driving forces for countries to overcome challenges, improve competitiveness and adapt to the rapid changes of the times.
Many countries around the world have promoted the development of innovation and digital transformation ecosystems, thereby creating a breakthrough in socio-economic development.
In Vietnam, the Party and State clearly identify science, technology and innovation as the main driving forces for rapid and sustainable growth, contributing to improving the quality of life and bringing the country to develop in the digital age.
