News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on February 12th said: The grassroots trade union of full-time officials of the Da Nang City Trade Union has organized a delegation to visit, give Tet gifts and receive support for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Lu.
The delegation included Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - Vice Chairwoman of the City Labor Federation, Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union of full-time officials of the City Trade Union.
Previously, implementing the campaign launched by the City Labor Federation, the grassroots trade union of full-time officials registered and officially received to support Mother Nguyen Thi Lu.
Mother was born in 1932, native of Thang An commune, Da Nang city. Mother has a husband and son who are martyrs, who have made many contributions and sacrifices for the cause of national liberation.
At the visit, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh cordially inquired about Mother's health and life, and expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the Mother's family to the Fatherland. She affirmed that receiving support for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is a practical activity, showing the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", and also showing the responsibility and affection of the Trade Union organization for policy families.
On this occasion, the delegation presented Tet gifts and support funds, wishing Mother always good health and peace with her children and grandchildren.
The activities of visiting, giving Tet gifts and receiving support for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers by the Trade Unions at all levels of Da Nang city not only contribute to caring for the lives of Mothers but also spread humanistic and meaningful values among the contingent of officials and union members.
