Proactively and drastically from user instructions to practice, Dat Sen Hong Trade Union raises "resistance" for young workers in cyberspace.

Provincial Labor Federation issues many plans

Determining that digital transformation must go hand in hand with improving digital capacity and ensuring information security for union members, workers, and laborers (CN, NLĐ), the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has proactively erected information shields.

Continuously in March and July 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation issued Plan No. 20/KH-LĐLĐ on developing science, technology and digital transformation and Plan No. 63/KH-LĐLĐ on network security, orienting Trade Union levels to improve skills in using technology, protecting data and proactively preventing risks in the network environment with specific goals.

Typically, 100% of full-time Trade Union officials are disseminated policies and regulations on network security; Trade Union levels organize propaganda on skills in using information safety and preventing online fraud for union members; over 70% of grassroots Trade Unions (CĐCS) maintain at least one official digital communication channel and 85% of employees have access to official information through these channels.

By August 2026, there will continue to be Official Dispatch No. 607/LĐLĐ requesting Trade Union levels to innovate communication methods, take advantage of websites, Facebook, Zalo and digital platforms to bring information to union members in a concise, easy-to-understand, and practical direction.

In which, it is required to proactively grasp the thoughts and public opinion among union members, workers, and laborers; promptly provide official information and guide union members to identify and not share false information.

Each union member - A digital skill

After receiving this orientation, grassroots trade unions and commune and ward-level trade unions quickly put digital skills into things close to the lives of union members, workers, and laborers. In My Tho ward, the "Trade Union Accompanying Union Members" model uses fan pages, Zalo and Google Drive groups to increase two-way interaction between Trade Unions and grassroots levels.

The Trade Union also coordinates with the Youth Union to support workers in installing VNeID, activating electronic identification accounts and accessing online public services. In Cao Lanh ward, the "Each union member - One digital skill" model focuses on how to use ChatGPT, set effective commands, apply AI in drafting, learning, work and life; and at the same time pay attention to protecting personal data and using AI responsibly.

Meanwhile, in Hong Ngu ward, the model "Each union member is a digital citizen" aims to help union members know how to use VNeID, access official information channels and apply AI to work, study, business, and life by 2027. Notably, the ward Trade Union also established a Digital Technology Team of 13 members with knowledge of information technology from grassroots trade unions of enterprises, operating under the motto "people who know guide people who do not know, young union members support older union members".

Consistent from the provincial level to the grassroots level, this approach forms a unified thread: The province creates a framework, the grassroots turns into skills for workers to be the subjects using technology. All of this creates a solid foundation for digital transformation in the Red Lotus Land Trade Union organization to become more substantive.
