On August 18, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation informed that the unit has just issued a plan to implement the "3 savings" campaign among union members, workers and trade union levels in the period 2026 - 2031.
Accordingly, the campaign focuses on 3 contents: saving time and labor; saving energy and resources; saving in spending and shopping.
In which, saving time and labor is associated with administrative reform, digital transformation, using digital signatures, electronic records, shared databases and gradually applying artificial intelligence.
Trade union levels also encourage union members to promote initiatives, technical improvements, reduce redundant operations, and improve labor productivity.
With the requirement to save energy and resources, agencies, units, and businesses are mobilized to use electricity, water, and raw materials in accordance with norms; strengthen reuse and recycling; digitize dossiers, organize paperless meetings, contributing to reducing costs and protecting the environment.
In the content of spending and procurement, the consistent spirit is "necessary - effective - economical". Trade unions at all levels are required to use funds effectively, be public and transparent in procurement, limit formal and unnecessary expenditures, and prioritize resources for activities to care for union members and workers.
Notably, the campaign is associated with the movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income", innovation and digital transformation. Through this, savings are not only aimed at reducing costs but also towards creating new value, improving productivity and improving income for workers.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thoan - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation - said that the most important thing in the campaign is to build a sense of thrift and a culture of thrift in each official, union member, and worker.
Each economical job, even small ones, if maintained regularly, will contribute to improving labor productivity, operational efficiency and creating more resources to better care for union members and workers" - Mr. Thoan emphasized.
