On August 13, information from the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that the unit's working delegation had just coordinated with the Lao Cai Provincial Police to visit and work at Kim Gia Trading and Production Joint Stock Company, and at the same time organized a training program on prevention, detection and participation in ensuring security and order for union members, workers, and laborers.
At the working session, the working delegation learned about the production and business situation, working conditions and lives of workers; and exchanged with business leaders and grassroots trade unions about caring for and protecting workers' rights, building a safe working environment and complying with the law.
Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation requested businesses to continue to promote propaganda and dissemination of laws; proactively grasp the thoughts and lives of workers; promptly detect risks affecting security and order, and at the same time promote the role of trade union organizations in mobilizing union members to actively participate in preventing and combating crime and social evils.
Immediately after the working program, key officials of grassroots trade unions under the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks participated in the training class directly conveyed by Lao Cai Provincial Police.
Reporters focused on disseminating the situation of security and order, methods and tricks of criminal activities, risks from drugs and social evils; guiding skills in identifying, preventing, handling situations and denouncing violations of the law.
This activity contributes to raising awareness of union members and workers in maintaining security and order, building a safe and stable working environment, and joining hands in implementing the goal of building "drug-free communes and wards" in Lao Cai province.
