The Trade Union of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City has issued an official dispatch calling on the entire sector to mobilize support for the education sector of provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3 .
The dispatch stated: "In the past few days, storm No. 3 has directly affected many provinces and cities in the North of our country, causing great damage (including Hai Phong - the sister city of Da Nang). More than ever, the people of these localities, especially teachers, students and schools that suffered damage, are in dire need of attention and sharing in the spirit of "mutual love and support" from the people of the whole country."
According to the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, in order to promote the tradition of solidarity and the morality of "the strong help the weak", it is requested that the heads of departments under the Department; heads of the Department of Education and Training of districts; principals and directors of schools and centers under the Department; and chairmen of grassroots trade unions under the Trade Union of the Education and Training Sector quickly organize and call on managers, civil servants, public employees, teachers, workers, students and trainees at all units and schools in the area to open their hearts of compassion, donate and support people in provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3 in general, and the Education and Training sector of these localities in particular.
All funds will be used on the principle of transparency and appropriate allocation among affected localities.
