
Petrovietnam Trade Union currently directly manages 32 affiliated Trade Unions, including 9 grassroots trade unions and 23 affiliated Trade Unions, a total of 149 grassroots trade unions (of which, 1 grassroots trade union under administrative management; 67 grassroots trade unions of state-owned enterprises, 68 grassroots trade unions of non-state enterprises and 13 grassroots trade unions of foreign-invested enterprises.
As of June 30, 2025, the total number of employees is 60,671 people, union members are 60,842 people, of which the number of female union members is 15,142 people, accounting for 24.9% of the total number of union members in the whole industry.

During the Lunar New Year 2025, Petrovietnam Trade Union organized the program "Spring of Oil and Gas Love - Warm Sharing Festival" in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and supported funding for more than 20 units to organize Spring Oil and Gas for employees at projects, works, and units in remote areas. Together with the Group's leaders, visit, encourage and wish a happy New Year, give gifts to workers at key projects, factories, on drilling rigs, ships, coastal works, remote areas, and foreign projects in person and online; visit and give gifts to policy families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, support poor households in localities where the Group's factories and key projects are located with a total amount of 218 billion VND.
During Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational safety and health in 2025, Petrovietnam Trade Union organized a ceremony to honor 100 outstanding and outstanding workers and met with Chairmen of the National Assembly, leaders of the Party and State. Petrovietnam Trade Union and trade unions at all levels visited over 500 collectives in remote, isolated, border, and island areas, key projects with a total amount of more than 30 billion VND.
During Workers' Month, Petrovietnam Trade Union organized delegations to visit and encourage Workers' Month activities at grassroots units and visit workers in especially difficult circumstances with an amount of 3 billion VND. Along with that, 16 Trade Union Shelters were donated in 2024 with a total amount of 1.3 billion VND and it is planned that in 2025, 12 Trade Union Shelters will be donated with a budget of 960 million VND.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - Chairman of Petrovietmam Trade Union - said that in the coming time, trade unions at all levels in the industry will continue to focus on performing well the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees. Organize periodic dialogues and negotiate Collective Labor Agreements for the period 2024 - 2027 at the Group level. Participating in developing and supervising the implementation of policies related to employees; ensuring jobs and income for union members and employees.
Implementing union member welfare programs, Petrovietnam Trade Union and trade unions at all levels have been proactive and actively coordinating with the professional community to accompany the construction and repair of cultural works at the grassroots level, especially in projects, key Oil and Gas works, units far from the center... to help workers have facilities, improve spiritual life, connect workers and build a grassroots culture and culture of Petrovietnam.
