According to the report at the conference, the Au Lau Ward Trade Union was established on July 1, 2025, currently manages 2,657 officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers; of which 2,390 union members are active in 28 grassroots trade unions.
The average income reached about 7.2 million VND/person/month; the ideological situation of union members was stable, and there were no collective labor disputes.
In 2025, the Ward Trade Union focuses on effectively implementing the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
Trade union levels have organized 3 "Trade Union Meals" for 184 turns of union members; visited and supported 147 turns of union members with a budget of over 75 million VND; supported union members affected by storm No. 10 with a total budget of 242 million VND.
Propaganda and emulation work has been effectively implemented; the movements "Good Labor - Creative Labor", "Good at State Affairs - Good at Home Affairs"... have been actively responded to. In 2025, the Ward Trade Union completed and exceeded 10/11 targets assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and highly appreciated the operating results of the Au Lau Ward Trade Union in the first year of establishment, and at the same time proposed to continue to innovate operating methods, promote the development of union members, and better care for the lives of workers.
On this occasion, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2025.
