News from Dien Ban Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 21st said: Dien Ban Ward Trade Union in coordination with Dien Ban Basic Social Insurance (BHXH) organized propaganda, dialogue and legal advice on social insurance and health insurance (BHYT) policies for union members and employees at the Basic Trade Union of Woochang Vietnam Co., Ltd.
At the propaganda session, more than 300 union members and employees of the company listened to representatives of the social insurance agency disseminate the basic and core contents and new points of the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Health Insurance.
The key contents being implemented include: The rights and obligations, responsibilities to participate in social insurance and health insurance of employers and employees; specific policies such as regulations on sickness, maternity, occupational accidents, occupational diseases, retirement and death benefits; clearly analyzing the benefits of receiving monthly pensions compared to withdrawing social insurance once.
In an open atmosphere, workers were able to have direct dialogues with representatives of social insurance agencies, Ward Trade Unions and received specific and thorough answers to many questions from workers related to: Procedures for transferring to health insurance medical examination and treatment, benefits when receiving medical examination and treatment through tuyến; procedures for resolving maternity benefits, postpartum health recovery; regimes of differences when changing social insurance contribution levels.
This coordination activity is extremely practical, not only helping to raise awareness and sense of law compliance of workers and employers, but also protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of trade union members.
