The Trade Union of Dien Ban Dong Ward, Da Nang City on June 22 said: in order to create conditions for union members and workers to access preferential loans, develop the family economy and improve the quality of life, the Trade Union of Dien Ban Dong Ward coordinated with the Capital Assistance Fund for workers, civil servants, and laborers of the Da Nang City Labor Federation to organize the signing and implementation of a loan package for union members and workers of the Phan Chau Trinh University Trade Union and the team of officials, civil servants, and laborers in the ward.
According to the signed content, union members and workers in need will have access to loan capital with simple procedures and preferential interest rates to meet essential needs such as housing repair, health care, investment in children's education, household economic development and stable life.
Mr. Vo Van Binh - Chairman of Dien Ban Dong Ward Trade Union said: the implementation of the loan package is a practical activity to well perform the function of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, the program contributes to limiting the situation of black credit borrowing, helping union members access safe, transparent and suitable capital sources according to actual conditions.
Immediately after the signing ceremony, the Capital Assistance Fund for workers, civil servants, and laborers completed disbursement procedures for 18 union members and laborers with a total amount of 540 million VND. The program received the consensus and positive response of union members and laborers, contributing to creating more resources for family economic development, improving income, stabilizing life and peace of mind in work, labor, and production.
This is one of the practical care activities of the Dien Ban Dong Ward Trade Union, further affirming the companion role of the trade union organization in supporting union members and workers to overcome difficulties and build a stable and sustainable life.
