News from the Son Tra Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on April 18th said: The Da Nang City Labor Federation in coordination with Military Region 5 organized a program to propagate and mobilize law compliance for union members and workers in the area.
Nearly 200 union members and workers from self-managed worker groups in the dormitory area of Son Tra Ward Trade Union participated in the program.
Attending the program were Colonel Nguyen Dang Thach, Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of Military Region 5; Ms. Phan Thi Ha - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the City Labor Federation; Ms. Le Thi Hong Minh - Chairwoman of the Son Tra Ward Trade Union.

Captain Ho Viet Hong, Legal Reporter of Military Region 5, presented a thematic report on the 2019 Labor Code and the 2015 Law on Occupational Safety and Health, focusing on the basic rights and obligations of workers, regulations directly related to working conditions, working hours, rest and ensuring safety in labor.
In addition, Comrade Nguyen Nho Dao, Deputy Director of Hoa Cuong Grassroots Social Insurance, provided specialized information on social insurance policies, helping union members and workers better understand their rights and responsibilities when participating in social insurance and unemployment insurance.
The propaganda program is organized vividly in the form of direct Q&A, thereby helping workers consolidate knowledge and improve their ability to apply the law in practice.
Many questions related to specific situations in working life were raised, attracting the active participation of union members. The organizing committee also prepared practical gifts for those who answered correctly, contributing to creating a lively and exciting atmosphere throughout the program.
