News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on April 15 said: Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Trade Union Working Committee, Da Nang City Labor Federation to organize a series of activities to propagate the Labor Law and the Social Insurance Law for workers in boarding houses in Hoa Khanh ward.
The event attracted the enthusiastic participation of a large number of workers thanks to the clever combination of knowledge dissemination and theatrical activities.
In order to ensure thoroughness and create the most favorable conditions for workers to participate, propaganda sessions are organized at two key locations: An Ngai Dong Community House, for self-managed worker groups in Hoa Son boarding house area. Nguyen Van Troi Elementary School (campus 2), for self-managed worker groups in Hoa Khanh Nam boarding house area.
The program recorded positive response with more than 300 workers living in 11 Self-managed Workers Groups participating, reaching a rate of 100% of groups in the area having access to practical legal knowledge.
At the conference nights, speaker Le Lanh - Deputy Director of Thanh Khe Grassroots Social Insurance and Captain Ho Viet Hong - Legal Reporter of Military Region 5 conveyed the core new points of the Labor Law and the Social Insurance Law.
With a friendly way of speaking, the reporters cleverly used everyday examples, making legal regulations easy to understand and remember.
The special highlight that makes the hall atmosphere even more explosive is the integration of short comedy skits. Dramatic situations are staged closely following reality, truthfully reflecting sad and happy stories in the dormitory and working environment.
The performances not only brought hearty laughter after hard working hours, but also a meaningful silence for each worker to both laugh and reflect on themselves, thereby raising awareness of law compliance and protecting their legitimate rights.
Immediately after the presentations and skits, the interactive exchange took place extremely sôi nổi. Simple and practical situational questions raised by the organizers were quickly answered by workers, thereby receiving valuable gifts from the Da Nang City Labor Federation.
Also on this occasion, with the spirit of mutual affection, Military Region 5 directly presented 5 support gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to 5 worker households living in rented rooms facing unexpected difficult circumstances.
The success of the two propaganda nights not only contributed to raising legal awareness for the labor force, but also affirmed the practical companion and sharing role of the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union and coordinating units for the material and spiritual life of workers far from home.
