To celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026) and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, on March 5, Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City organized a meeting with female Chairpersons and Heads of Women's Affairs Committees of grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions in the ward.
At the meeting, delegates together reviewed the glorious tradition of International Women's Day March 8th and the heroic uprising of the Trung Sisters - a bright symbol of patriotism, resilience and the great role of Vietnamese women in the cause of national construction and defense.
Speaking at the program, leaders of Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union acknowledged and praised the positive contributions of female trade union officials in the past time.
At the same time, emphasizing the core role of female Chairwomen and Heads of Women's Affairs Committees in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female union members and workers; building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
On this occasion, Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union implemented a number of key contents of Women's Union work in 2026 such as: promoting propaganda of policies and laws related to female workers; organizing activities to care for material and spiritual life; launching the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home"; strengthening the application of digital transformation in Women's Union activities; building effective models and methods suitable to the actual situation.
The meeting took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere, creating conditions for female trade union officials to exchange and share experiences, spread solidarity and responsibility, contributing to the successful implementation of trade union work tasks in 2026.
