In the afternoon of March 4, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) visited, gave lucky money and supported hundreds of workers in Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park, Da Nang; at the same time, requested businesses to create conditions for workers to exercise their right to vote on March 15.
The activity is organized by the Da Nang City Labor Federation to encourage businesses and workers to return to work after the Tet holiday, adding momentum to the first days of production of the year.
At CCI Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a multinational enterprise managed by Singapore) specializing in manufacturing electronic components, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung and leaders of the City Labor Federation visited and inquired about the production situation and lives of workers and gave lucky money at the beginning of the year to about 500 workers working in the evening shift. On this occasion, the working delegation also presented 20 support scholarships to workers in difficult circumstances.

Receiving lucky money envelopes at the beginning of the year, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - a worker in the assembly department said she was very touched when the Trade Union leaders directly came to the factory to visit.
Due to the specific nature of our work, we rarely participate in focused activities. The fact that leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour come to the place to encourage us makes brothers and sisters very excited and have more motivation to work at the beginning of the year," Ms. Hanh shared.
Leaving CCI Vietnam, the delegation continued to Vinh Gia Co., Ltd. (specializing in producing handicrafts and export handicrafts) to visit and give lucky money at the beginning of the year to 100 workers working in the production shift, and at the same time awarded 20 support scholarships to workers facing difficulties.

Mr. Tran Van Lam, a worker at this enterprise, said that the concern of the Trade Union organization helps workers feel more shared and attached to their work. "New Year's words of encouragement and small but very meaningful lucky money, create more joy for workers when returning to the factory after Tet," Mr. Lam said.
Speaking at the visit, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung acknowledged the efforts of businesses in maintaining production and creating stable jobs for workers.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour also requested business leaders to continue to pay attention to taking care of workers' lives, and coordinate with trade union organizations to build a stable and harmonious working environment.

In particular, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung hopes that businesses will create conditions for workers to fully exercise their rights and civic obligations on the day of the National Assembly and People's Council elections at all levels on March 15.
According to the Da Nang City Labor Federation, the program to visit and encourage businesses and workers at the beginning of spring is an annual activity of the Trade Union organization, aiming to promptly support workers, and at the same time encourage the spirit of labor and production emulation right from the early days of the year.
