Currently, TKV Trade Union manages 65 grassroots and above-level trade unions with more than 93,000 union members. Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Chairman of TKV Trade Union informed that since the beginning of the year, trade unions at all levels have promoted emulation movements associated with production and business tasks. In particular, TKV Trade Union has developed an Emulation Launch Plan with 9 targets and 8 specific emulation contents for implementation in the entire industry.
Implementing the plan of TKV Trade Union, Trade Unions at all levels in the industry will strengthen propaganda and dissemination of the Party's Directives and Resolutions, Resolutions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and TKV Trade Union; participate in policy development; promote welfare for miners, care for practical benefits for union members and workers; improve the quality of training and fostering union officials. Mobilize cadres, union members, and workers to compete to promote initiatives, creativity, improve techniques, apply digital transformation, practice thrift against waste, increase labor productivity, ensure jobs and income for workers, practically celebrate important events of the Party, the country, TKV and units, strive to comprehensively complete the production and business tasks in 2025. At the same time, it is associated with the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees.
As a result, in the 9-day and night emulation period of the first quarter of 2025 to produce Alumina, the Dak Nong aluminum Company Trade Union and the Lam Dong aluminum Company Trade Union have coordinated with specialized agencies, actively mobilizing union members and employees to participate in production to increase the completed output exceeding the plan.
Trade unions at all levels have registered to undertake 313 emulation projects and products. The works and products focus on improving working conditions for employees; works to care for employees' lives; works on products applying new technology, mechanical, automation, information technology works...
Of these, 305 projects have been completed with a reward of more than 3.83 billion VND. The promotion of initiatives and application of new science and technology in production has been of interest to units, with 950 recognized topics and initiatives with a value of more than 49.3 billion VND.
Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Chairman of TKV Trade Union said that in the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, mobilize union members and workers to actively work in production, contributing to the comprehensive completion of the 6-month and full-time production and business plan for 2025, practically welcoming the 4th Party Congress of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, term 2025 - 2030.
Coordinate with the specialized agency to develop a joint plan to organize activities to care for the 2026 Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo for workers.
Continue to effectively implement the Trade Union Shelter housing program and policy family housing. Review, synthesize, and approve support for the construction and repair of Trade Union Shelters and policy houses in the second phase of 2025. Proactively grasp the ideological situation of employees, especially units facing difficulties in production and business, and units implementing restructuring. Organize a survey of public opinion on the implementation of policies for employees. thoroughly implement the streamlining of the apparatus according to Resolution 18 of the 12th Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient in conjunction with the Group restructuring project.
