According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), from April 27 - May 1, the unit will focus on implementing many key tasks associated with caring for and protecting the rights of workers.
Notably, the signing of a digital transformation cooperation agreement for the period 2026-2030 between Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation and MobiFone Vinh Long, contributing to improving the efficiency of trade union activities.
Along with that, the Provincial Labor Federation attended the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day and commended typical grassroots trade union presidents; participated in contributing opinions to the draft Document of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
The unit also issued a plan to coordinate the organization of communication conferences and direct dialogues on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies, helping workers understand their rights.
Many grassroots-oriented activities were prepared such as meetings with party members and workers, commending typical examples; organizing dialogues between provincial leaders and workers.
In parallel, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions and trade unions continues to be promoted; strengthening inspection of compliance with labor laws and occupational safety and health at enterprises.
The Provincial Labor Federation Inspection Committee focuses on inspecting the implementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, and the management of trade union finances and assets at the grassroots level.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation also assigned officials to be on duty to ensure timely handling of work and good service for workers during peak periods.
