From July 6 to 10, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation focused on implementing many key tasks, notably developing 274 union members, establishing 4 grassroots trade unions and preparing a series of activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
During the week, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation attended conferences of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and many thematic conferences organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and sectors, and fully implemented thematic reports as prescribed.
The Provincial Labor Federation issued a decision to establish a delegation to supervise the implementation of policies and laws for employees at enterprises; report on the management of finances and trade union assets in 2025 and submit it for consideration of salary and allowance increases for officials according to regulations.
The unit also implemented many key plans such as the online contest to learn about Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW, the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026 - 2031 and activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation is expected to visit 12 businesses, give gifts to union members in difficult circumstances; and at the same time, statistics on FDI enterprises with 100 or more employees that have not yet established grassroots trade unions to continue to mobilize the development of trade union organizations.
At the grassroots level, the Trade Union of Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Co., Ltd. had a delegation participating in the 2026 Olympic Games in Japan, winning 1 third prize. The Trade Union of Ty Xuan Co., Ltd. gave gifts (deer parachutes) to 19,739 union members with a total budget of 1.7 billion VND.
To date, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation is managing 7 commune and ward trade unions and 650 grassroots trade unions and professional unions with 177,795 union members out of a total of 185,247 workers.
