According to the VNPT Trade Union (under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology), the seminar was organized in 2 sessions with two groups of participants, aiming to collect multi-dimensional perspectives on factors affecting the employee happiness index.
The first session is for workers, trade unions directly listen to the feelings, experiences and desires of workers about the working environment, working conditions, income, development opportunities, recognition, relationships at work, welfare and balance between work and life.
The second session is for unit directors and grassroots trade union presidents, focusing on exchanging from the perspective of management and representatives of workers about factors affecting workers' happiness, the role of leaders and trade union organizations, and solutions that can be implemented at the grassroots level to improve the working environment and improve the quality of life of workers.
The seminar created an open exchange space for workers to directly share their feelings, experiences and desires in work and life. In particular, from the stories and practical perspectives of workers, the seminar clarified the factors that create feelings of happiness, satisfaction and attachment to work; and identified the issues and pressures that workers are concerned about in the context of organization and the changing working environment.
VNPT Trade Union said that the organization of two seminars helps the advisory council have more practical information from both employees and managers, trade union representatives, thereby having a basis to complete the qualitative survey content and build a set of questions to survey VNPT employee happiness index in 2026 that is closer to reality.
