Warm Mid-Autumn Festival from businesses to hospitals
In the late afternoon of September 20, nearly 200 union members, workers and children participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 program organized by the Trade Union of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Co., Ltd., directly under the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union.
In the bustling sound of lion drums, children were able to interact, participate in quizzes with prizes and join their families to break the feast to watch the moon. On this occasion, the company's Trade Union presented 124 gifts including cakes and Mid-Autumn lanterns to children of union members and workers.
The gifts are not of great value but bring joy to the children, and at the same time help workers feel more clearly the concern of the Trade Union organization and businesses for their families.
At Dong Nhan General Clinic Co., Ltd., the grassroots Trade Union also coordinated with the unit's leaders to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival program and present 90 gifts to children of union members and workers who have reached 9th grade.
The Mid-Autumn Festival space is organized right at the unit with folk games, collective activities, giao lưu with Uncle Cuoi, Sister Hang and watching lion - unicorn - dragon performances. Many activities have the participation of both parents and children, thereby creating more opportunities to meet and giao lưu between union member and worker families.
The Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere was also spread at Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital. The hospital's grassroots trade union organized the "Tet Union Member" program, presented 208 gifts to union members and workers, and organized the "Full Moon Festival" for nearly 100 union members and children being treated at the hospital.
Children were treated to a feast with Mid-Autumn cakes, candies, milk and participated in fun activities, lion dances, dragon dances, and drum festivals. Paying attention to children being treated has helped them temporarily forget the days in the hospital and immerse themselves in the joyful atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Each facility with a practical care method
The common point of Mid-Autumn Festival programs organized by grassroots trade unions directly under Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union is the coordination between grassroots trade unions and business and unit leaders.
That coordination helps care activities not only stop at giving gifts but also increasingly closely follow the actual needs of union members and workers.
Some units focus on taking care of union members' children during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Some places organize activities for parents to play with their children. Some units choose team building programs to help workers rest and regenerate labor after stressful working days.
Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union - assessed that the programs show that Trade Union activities at the grassroots level are being implemented quite diversely, suitable to the conditions and characteristics of each unit.
It is worth noting that grassroots trade unions have proactively coordinated with business and unit leaders to organize practical activities for union members, workers and their families. Each program has a different way of organizing but all contribute to creating joy, strengthening cohesion and helping workers have more confidence in the Trade Union organization," said Ms. Lam Thi Vy.
According to Ms. Vy, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union encourages grassroots trade unions to continue to build appropriate care programs, starting from the actual needs of workers. The concern is not only carried out during holidays and Tet but is also maintained regularly, which will help Trade Union activities become closer and deeper.
From Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, festival nights for children at hospitals to trips to help workers regenerate energy, care activities have been concretized by close actions.
Through this, the Trade Union organization not only accompanies workers at work but also cares about their spiritual life and family. This is also the foundation for building harmonious labor relations, creating more bonds between workers and businesses, units and Trade Union organizations.
